What We Do

Whether assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, or offering a comforting presence... We are committed to making a positive difference.

Personal Care

Personal care is the support and supervision of the activities of daily living (ADLs) that maintain personal hygiene. These are basic tasks that are essential to help our clients continue to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Today, nearly 50% of adults aged 65 and older require assistance with daily living activities. Common personal care services include:

  • Bathing/ Grooming
  • Dressing
  • Feeding Assistance

Homemaking

Homemaking services are tasks that help our clients maintain their routine household tasks. They are perfect for our clients who find household tasks challenging or exhausting, due to physical limitations, health conditions, or age. These services provide the necessary support, allowing them to maintain their independence at home in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment without the stress of managing daily chores. Common homemaking services include:

  • Meal preparation and planning
  • Light housekeeping (taking out the trash, washing dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, etc.)
  • Errands/Shopping
  • Transportation to and from doctor appointments, social events, or family gatherings

Companionship

Companionship care is a vital part of home care services that will provide our clients with emotional support, social interaction, and mental stimulation. Many think that personal care and homemaking are primary services, but the emotional and social aspects of companionship care are equally important and plays a crucial role in overall quality of life. Currently, over 40% of seniors experience regular loneliness and studies have shown that social isolation can lead to depression, anxiety, and even physical decline. Having companionship care allows our clients to feel valued, engaged, and supported in their daily lives making homecare services not just about physical needs. Common companionship care services include:

  • Conversations and social interaction
  • Meal companionship
  • Support with hobbies and activities
  • General safety and supervision

Our Reviews

I have been using Grannie Nannies for over a year so that I can get out and run errands and have some “me” time. Everyone they sent was good. However for the past several months Rita Young has been our caregiver each time. She is amazing. I never worry at all as I know my husband (who has Alzheimer’s) is in good hands. He and our dog enjoy their time with Rita. It has made a huge difference in my own well being. Highly recommend Granny Nannies of Orlando.

Granny Nannies has the most wonderful caregivers! Hermine and Anne took care of my mother for 8 1/2 years. My mother had advanced Parkinson's Disease and these women went above and beyond with her care. I can absolutely say that Hermine and Anne are true angels on Earth.

Maria has been an absolute God-send for our family! My parents are constantly telling me how wonderful she is, which says a lot since they really fought the need for a care-giver in the first place. Now they feel like she is family and I am so very grateful for the loving care she provides to my parents.

We have used Granny Nannies for the past 5 years for my father who has suffered from Parkinson's Disease and now for my mother who has dementia. The caregivers provide excellent care and many have become like family especially Dallah, Leada, Tina, Mya and Cliff. I would highly recommend Granny Nannies and their loving caregivers.

We have two aides we have used for a year and have been nothing but pleased. They are cheerful, responsible, caring and professional. They assist my husband with his oxygen needs when going to rehab. Finding dependable aides in the Lake Nona was a real challenge until I contacted Granny Nannies. I highly recommend them for all of your home care needs.
