Personal Care

Personal care is the support and supervision of the activities of daily living (ADLs) that maintain personal hygiene. These are basic tasks that are essential to help our clients continue to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Today, nearly 50% of adults aged 65 and older require assistance with daily living activities. Common personal care services include:

Homemaking services are tasks that help our clients maintain their routine household tasks. They are perfect for our clients who find household tasks challenging or exhausting, due to physical limitations, health conditions, or age. These services provide the necessary support, allowing them to maintain their independence at home in a clean, comfortable, and safe environment without the stress of managing daily chores. Common homemaking services include:

  • Meal preparation and planning
  • Light housekeeping (taking out the trash, washing dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, etc.)
  • Errands/Shopping
  • Transportation to and from doctor appointments, social events, or family gatherings
