Medicare typically only pays for services provided by skilled practitioners such as physicians,
nurses, physical and occupational therapists, etc. Medicare-covered services have to be prescribed
by a physician, the patient needs to be considered homebound, and the visits
(approx. 3x/week, 45-50 mins/visit depending on the nature of the visit)
are generally only permitted for up to 60 days.
Many patients receiving Medicare Home Care Services often need additional help with day-to-day living tasks
that are not covered by Medicare. However, Granny NANNIES can bridge the gap between what Medicare doesn’t
cover and what those patients need.
